Taken is a Franco-American television series based on the film series of the same name, which acts as a modern-day origin story depicting a younger Bryan Mills played by Clive Standen. It premiered on February 27th, 2017.
NBC picked up the series for 10 episodes of this season. On May 9, 2017, NBC renewed the series for a second season.
Plot
This new, modern-day, edge-of-your-seat thriller follows the origin story of younger, hungrier, former Green Beret Bryan Mills as he deals with a personal tragedy that shakes his world. As he fights to overcome the incident and exact revenge, Mills is pulled into a career as a deadly CIA operative, a job that awakens his very particular, and very dangerous, set of skills.[1]
