Maxim is a supporting antagonist in the 2014 film, Taken 3. He was the main henchman of Russian terrorist Oleg Malankov and helped his boss in many taches, including his goal to kill Bryan Mills.
He was portrayed by Andrew Howard.
Biography[]
In the film's opening, Maxim is one of the henchmen tasked with kidnapping a wealthy businessman on his estate before taking him to the place where he is working and where the businessman meets Malankov himself. When the Russian crime boss asks from the businessman to open the safe of his own boss for Malankov will take his money, Maxim sees that all of the money is gone. After speaking to his secret employer regarding a debt, Malankov orders to his assistant give him his own gun and shoots his hostage dead.
Maxim is later seen in a store with three other gangsters but Bryan enters and kills his accomplices before Malankov's assistant fights personally against the ex-military. Bryan finally defeats Maxim and asks the Russian who he's working for and where his boss is. When Maxim says to Bryan in Russian that he prefers to die instead of telling him where Malankov is, a furious Bryan kills the henchman by shooting him in the mouth.
